Outside Fire Destroys Two Detached Garages

SHREVEPORT, LA - Just after 1:00pm today Caddo Fire District #3 along with automatic aid from Caddo Parish Fire District Number Four responded to the 4300 block of Eaglewood Avenue for a reported house fire that was also catching a neighbors garage on fire. Engine 312 arrived on scene to find two detached garages on fire with a house being exposed. Firefighters were able to knock down the flames on both garages and save the home. The original detached garage is a total loss while the other was spared. No injuries were reported and the fire is believed to have been started by an unattended outside fire. All crews are back in service and ready to respond to the next run.

🚒 It is imperative that outdoor burning of any kind outside the city limits is reported to the appropriate fire district before you burn. 🚒
