MANY, LA - Services for Desoto Parish Fire District #1 Chief Rusty Canton were held at Logansport High School with hundreds in attendance. Fire and EMS agencies across the region were present. The procession started at Logansport High School and proceeded an hour south to Saint John The Baptist Catholic Church in Many, LA. Citizens, travelers and first responders all lined the route to show their respect for Chief Canton. Burial services included a fly over from Life Air Rescue along with bagpipes.
