We provide fire protection and emergency medical services, including transportation, to the citizens in Caddo Parish Fire District 5. Our district is located in the southeastern part of Caddo Parish, Louisiana. It extends from the Shreveport city limits to the Desoto Parish and Red River Parish lines on the south end and from the Red River to Wallace Lake Road on the west end.

The mission of Caddo Fire District 5 is to provide the citizens in our area of responsibility the very best fire protection and emergency medical service possible by maintaining highly motivated paid and volunteer personnel that continually train to provide these services in an efficient, competent, and safe manner.

Caddo Parish Fire District 5 is a combination paid/volunteer department that provides fire and emergency medical services to the citizens of southeast Caddo Parish, Louisiana.  We have four fire stations: two of which are manned by firefighters 24/7, one is manned part-time, and the other houses equipment that is retrieved when needed.
